What is Pack Baseball?
Pack Baseball is a community-based, full time travel program for boys aged 13-18. Pack offers comprehensive off-season training programs, experienced coaches, and competitive play in games and tournaments.
Mission Statement
Pack Baseball (Youth) is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of 13 and 14-year-old boys into skilled baseball players and responsible young men. We strive to create an environment that emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, while providing the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare them for high school baseball.

Connor Nelson - Director of Pack Baseball
Coaching Experience: Nelson started his coaching career at Concordia University in 2020. Before starting with Pack baseball in 2022, Nelson was the head coach of the Joliet Dirtbags, a collegiate summer team for the 2021 season.
Education: Nelson graduated with a BA in Enterprise Leadership with a minor in Sport and Rec Management from the University of Iowa in May of 2020 and earned his MBA from Concordia University Chicago in May of 2024.
Playing Experience: Nelson attended Oak Park River Forest High School, where he played baseball and earned the honor of West Suburban Player of the Year as a senior. He was also an All-State, All-Conference and All-Area honoree during his senior campaign. As a player, Nelson spent his freshman and sophomore years at the University of Iowa where he was a part of their baseball team before being sidelined by injuries. Nelson was a part of the team’s first ever Big Ten Championship.
